Privacy Policy

PrediPool is a private prediction-pools game made by Ragdoll Software under its Chango Games Studios wing. We built it to be boring on privacy: no accounts, no sign-in, no ad networks, no analytics SDKs. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and how to get it deleted.

No account, no personal profile

PrediPool does not ask for your email, phone number, real name, or photo. When the app first launches it generates a random device identifier and stores it in your phone's secure keychain. That identifier — and a display name you choose when joining a pool — is the only way we recognise you. If you uninstall the app the identifier is wiped from your device, and the next install generates a fresh one.

What we store on our servers

• Your device identifier (a random UUID — not your IDFA, advertising ID, or device serial).
• The display name you pick when joining a pool.
• Your predictions — match score predictions, your champion pick, and any bonus answers.
• Your pool memberships — which pools you've joined and whether you're the admin.
• Purchase receipts — when you upgrade a pool, the App Store or Play Store gives us a receipt that we record against your device identifier to unlock the upgrade.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, IP address logs for profiling, or any browsing history.

Third parties

The full list of third parties involved in running PrediPool:

• Apple and Google — distribute the app and process in-app purchases on their respective stores. They handle payment under their own privacy policies; we never see your card details.
• RevenueCat — verifies your in-app purchases. We send RevenueCat your device identifier and the purchase receipt so it can confirm the entitlement.
• Amazon Web Services (EU) — hosts our database. Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the EU.

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, marketing pixels, or session replay tools. PrediPool ships with no SDKs of that kind embedded.

How long we keep it

We keep your pool data for as long as the pool exists so other members can see the leaderboard. Tournament data (matches, fixtures, results) is retained indefinitely as a historical record but contains no personal information. When you ask us to delete your data, we remove your device identifier, display name, predictions, push token, and purchase records within 30 days.

Your rights and how to delete your data

You can access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. Because we don't know who you are beyond a random device identifier, the easiest way to identify your records is to tell us the display name and invite code of the pool you're in, along with the device (iPhone or Android) you use.

Email hello@chango-games.com with the subject "Delete my data". We will confirm deletion within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you just want a clean slate on your phone without contacting us, uninstall and reinstall the app. That generates a fresh device identifier locally; the previous records stay on our server but are no longer linked to your phone.

Children

PrediPool is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided data to us, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app before the change takes effect.
